BWI Meeting & Greeting Information
Welcome to the 2026 Honor Flight season at BWI!
Greeter sign-ups – there are two options for greeting an Honor Flight arrivals and departures at BWI.
- Greet outside security as the Veterans come through the TSA exit. This option exists for ALL arrivals and departures at BWI. This is also the only option for Allegiant and Breeze charter flights. Plenty of room to get loud. Sign-ups are not needed. If you would like to request complimentary parking validation, sign-ups are required.
- Alaska, American, Spirit and Southwest Airlines provide gate passes so you can greet an arriving Honor Flight at the gate. A REAL ID is required for all adults over the age of 18 to clear TSA. Everyone is required to have a gate pass, even minors and toddlers. NOTE: gate passes are only for Honor Flight trips, we do NOT process gate pass requests for other flights.
To sign up for Gate passes – click the blue button below, otherwise scroll down to the “Greet Outside Security” section, find the arrival you wish to greet, and click on the associated link to fill out your request.
Updated Schedule information – want to stay informed on a weekly basis with the upcoming schedule? If you would like to be added to our weekly email list containing the upcoming schedule, please send an email to bwicoordinator@honorflight.org and in the subject line, list “add to weekly list.” This email will be sent weekly during the busy Spring and Fall season, less often during other month. You will be able to unsubscribe at any time.
Group greetings – we LOVE groups to come greet. If greeting an arrival on American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Alaska Airline or Spirit Airlines, your group can request gate passes to be at the gate.
